The 5th Annual Recycling Industry Conference on Renewable Resources and the Hunan International Green Development Expo were successfully held in Changsha from September 24 to September 26, 2020. Hu Xichao, the Chairman of Tianqiang Environmental Protection, was invited to attend. The conference, themed “Green Circularity Development,” focused on the development of green industries. The event attracted over 400 renowned environmental protection companies from both domestic and international markets, including France’s Veolia Environment Group, Switzerland’s Shaufhausen Green Environmental Company, Yunda Group, and Shanhe Intelligence, promoting further communication and cooperation among enterprises in the recycling industry.

In the face of the significantly increased demand for environmental protection and the development requirements of domestic circular economy in the post-pandemic period, leaders of various associations and representatives from enterprises have made enthusiastic speeches and actively discussed around the theme of “Green Circular Development” at the conference, offering their unique insights, keen insights, and judgment. Circular economy and green development have become the hot topics of this conference, and the attendees have shared their own company’s practical experience and development plans. During the conference, Hu Xichao, Chairman of Tianqiang Environmental Protection, shared a replicable case of sustainable development through the integration of “two networks” in waste recovery. She stated that in recent years, the issue of recycling waste resources, especially the recycling of plastic pollution, has received attention from leaders at all levels. On September 11, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and other ten departments held a national conference on plastic pollution control. The meeting pointed out that General Secretary Xi Jinping attaches great importance to plastic pollution control and has given important instructions multiple times. Premier Li Keqiang, Vice Premier Han Zheng, and other leaders have also made clear requirements. The guidance from the leaders has provided a clear path for the recycling industry of renewable materials, and the opportunities for circular and green recycling and the development of green recycled products have arrived. As one of the earliest enterprises in China to layout the recycling and utilization of recycled plastics and to integrate the entire industry chain of green recycling of recycled plastics, Tianqiang Environmental Protection covers a range of businesses in the field of multi-category front-end classification and collection of recycled resources, intermediate classification and transportation, and end-value reuse. In particular, the company has been deeply involved in the recycled plastics industry for over 20 years. It has laid out the entire industry chain for the recycling, regeneration, and utilization of waste plastics throughout their life cycle and has established a complete industrial ecological cluster. The annual recycling and utilization of waste plastics exceeds 80,000 tons, making it one of the largest recycled plastics recycling and utilization enterprises in China.

After the sharing and exchange session, leaders of the China Resources Recycling Association presented Tianqiang Environmental Protection and other companies with the “New Recycling Model Case Enterprise” qualification and honorary certificate for their innovative recycling resource models.

The honor is a recognition of Tianqiang Environmental Protection’s contribution to the development of the recycled plastic industry. In the future, Tianqiang Environmental Protection will continue to adhere to the practice of circular economy and the elimination of plastic pollution as an important direction for corporate development.
